What was once one of the better PTC sites around is now just another casualty of the PTC world.  ClixMX had the makings of a great site, with its active admin, great features and good payout.  It was the only PTC site that offered insurance against your referral clicks which made investing in referrals a lot safer.  In the end, it was faced with too much adversity to stay a float.  It was one of the sites that got hit hard from DDOS attacks and experienced a long down time.  …

We’ve all heard about how the DDOS attacks brought PTC sites to their knees several weeks ago.  Some sites were down for only a few days, and some for weeks.  When it first broke that a few sites had initially been hit with DDOS attacks, it was also learned that a blackmail letter accompanied the attacks.  Apparently, certain individuals claimed responsibility and wanted money to stop these attacks.  But this is not what intrigues me about the DDOS attacks.  What causes me pause for thought is how greatly some sites …
